BCS Championship Ohio State vs. LSU

I first want to say that I am a fan of neither the Big 10 or the SEC. Living in the south all I hear is how superior the SEC is and how Ohio State doesn't deserve to be in the championship because the Big 10 is an inferior conference. This is mostly based on the fact that Florida destroyed Ohio State in the championship last year. That was one ugly game. I got a little news for you SEC guys, you were 1-2 head to head in bowls against the Big 10 last year. Guess what else, you are a big 3 wins and 5 losses in the last three years in bowls against the Big 10. Not a very convincing argument for SEC superiority. Anyway make your own call, I'm going to let the cheer babes fight it out. Here's just a sample of the cheer babes from both:

Green Ronin Books

I got the books I ordered on Paizo's Green Ronin sale and wanted to post what I got from them. First up is Damnation Decade, a book based on movies from the 70's. It brings back memories of those movies I watched as a kid., Rollerball in particular comes to mind, they even have a little homage on the cover.





Next up I picked up Sidewinder. Cowboys are just plain cool. You could play Clint hunting down the bad guys and not saying a word while doing it. Not into the Old West? I could always mix the first two for a Westworld game.


Last but not least Skull & Bones. Pirates Rock!! I had to pick this one up as soon as I saw it. I was kind of disappointed that it was swashbuckling horror, but who really cares? It's Pirates!!

And as always the hot Pirate chick gives a big thumbs up! Who wants to board?

I have just two questions. What idiot would buy these for their daughter? What idiot thought these were a good idea? I realize there a second line on the back that says “When you have Santa” however most people are not going to get past the front when they see these hanging on the shelf. If the whole joke was on the front of a t-shirt it would be funny and would sell.

Heroscape Event in Ohio

I'm posting this for my friends up in Ohio. I saw this over at the Heroscapers forum, since it's to cold to do anything outside go play some Heroscape.

I have talked my FLGS into hosting a Heroscape open play day on December 15th. I will have several maps set up, but you are welcome to bring your own. Play will start at 3:30 PM. Ivory Tower Games is located at 601 East Main in Lebanon. 513 228 2040.
